Pick-Up Coil Resistance Test
- On Corolla and Corolla FX-16 with 4A-GE engine, measure pick-up coil resistance between terminals "G(+)" and "G(-)", and between "NE(+)" and "NE(-)". See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
- On Corolla with 4A-F engine, Corolla FX with 4A-C engine, measure pick-up coil resistance at ignition module terminals under distributor cap.
- If resistance is incorrect, replace pick-up coil/breaker plate assembly on Corolla with 4A-F engine, Corolla FX with 4A-C engine.
