Circuit Opening Relay Check

To check circuit opening relay, see Fig 1. The circuit opening relay is located under the center of the dash. Replace relay if defective.

NOTE: During cranking, there should be 12 volts present at "FP" terminal of circuit opening relay. This is the fuel pump (or fuel pump relay) line. See WIRING DIAGRAMS for wire color.
