Ignition System: Distributor: Removal
- Disconnect battery negative cable. Remove air cleaner hose. Disconnect distributor electrical connector. Disconnect ventilation hoses. Disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs and ignition coil.
- Remove distributor cap with spark plug wires attached. Scribe mark from distributor flange to engine for reassembly reference. Remove distributor hold-down bolt. Remove distributor. Remove "O" ring from distributor shaft and discard.
