Ignition Main Relay

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Remove ignition main relay from fuse/relay box, located on driver's side rear corner of engine compartment, near strut tower.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between specified terminals. See Fig 1 and Fig 2. Check ignition main relay operation by applying battery voltage and ground and checking continuity between specified terminals. See Fig 1 and Fig 2. Replace ignition main relay if defective.
