Camshaft Position Sensor

Disconnect electrical connector from camshaft position sensor. Camshaft position sensor is located at the front of the cylinder head on the firewall side of the engine. See Fig 1. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between electrical terminals on camshaft position sensor.
Replace camshaft position sensor if resistance is not within specification. See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Reinstall electrical connector on camshaft position sensor.
