When diagnosing multiplex control system, always perform BODY ECU INSPECTION and OPEN DOOR INDICATOR LIGHT INSPECTION under SYSTEM INSPECTIONS first to ensure Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be retrieved.
