When shipped from the factory, the RS3000 system is programmed to operate with the two included REMOTE CONTROLS. Upon remote ARMING and DISARMING, the PIEZO "CHIRPER" will chirp, the exterior lights will flash, and the interior lights are turned on. The GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR was adjusted upon installation to prevent false "alarms". When TRIGGERED, the system will flash the interior and exterior lights, and sound the vehicle's horn in a unique pattern; additionally, the vehicle's starter will be disabled. The system will reset after 57 seconds, or can be reset and DISARMED by use of a REMOTE CONTROL.

For information on tailoring the operation of the RS3000 to meet your needs, refer to the "PROGRAMMING AND ADJUSTMENTS " section. We recommend, however, that you have your Toyota dealer perform these adjustments.
