Quick Reference Operation: Triggering

While ARMED, the RS3000 will TRIGGER when any of the following events occurs:

Abrupt striking on the vehicle's window(s).

Breaking of a vehicle's window.

Opening any of the doors.**

Opening the vehicle's trunk or hatch.

Power lost then restored while system armed.

When TRIGGERED, the RS3000 will flash the exterior and interior lights and sound the vehicle's horn in a unique pattern for 57 seconds per triggering cycle. It will also disable the vehicle's starter until the system is DISARMED by key or REMOTE CONTROL.

To DISARM the system while TRIGGERING occurs: 

Press and release the REMOTE CONTROL'S top button once 

OR

Insert the key into the ignition switch, and turn "ON→ACC→ON".

* The ENTRY DELAY is factory preset to 15 seconds, and may be adjusted to 5,15, or 30 seconds.

**When PASSIVELY ARMED, the ENTRANCE DELAY must elapse before the system is TRIGGERED.

In some vehicles, the interior lights will not flash, but instead just light up during TRIGGERING.
