Remote Transmitter Battery Check

Remove battery from remote transmitter and measure battery voltage. If 2.5 volts or more is not present, replace battery. Reinstall battery and connect DVOM to read battery voltage. See Figure. Depress any button on remote transmitter for one second and repeat 3 times to load battery. Depress any button a fourth time and measure battery voltage. If 2.1 volts or more is not present after one second, replace battery.
