Power Window Motor

  1. Remove door panel for access to electrical connector at power window motor. Disconnect electrical connector for power window motor.
  2. Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage and ground to terminals No. 4 and 5 on electrical connector for power window motor and check that power window motor rotates clockwise. Perform STEP 1 in illustration. See Fig 1.
  3. Reverse jumper wires so polarity is reversed and check that power window motor rotates counterclockwise. Perform STEP 2 in illustration. See Fig 1. Replace power window motor if operation is not as specified. See POWER WINDOWS - TRUCKS article.
