Buzzer For Keyless Entry System

NOTE: Buzzer for keyless entry system may also be referred to as wireless door lock control buzzer.
  1. Disconnect electrical connector at buzzer for keyless entry system. Buzzer for keyless entry system is located at driver's side front corner of engine compartment, just behind headlight assembly and contains a 2-pin electrical connector with Light Green and White/Black wires.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between electrical terminal on buzzer for keyless entry system with positive lead of ohmmeter connected to terminal No. 1 and negative lead to terminal No. 2. See Fig 1. Resistance should be approximately 1000 ohms. Replace buzzer for keyless entry system if resistance is not within specification.
