Lighting Control System
Automatic Light Control System Does Not Operate (4) Test No. 21

Illuminated Entry System Does Not Operate Test No. 23 
(1) Door key linked function allows all doors and back (rear liftgate) door to be locked and unlocked simultaneously by using key and turning door lock on driver's side front door or passenger's side front door.
(2) Key confinement prevention function prevents the doors from being locked if ignition key is in the ignition lock cylinder.
(3) Automatic lock function allows 30 seconds to open the door once the door is unlocked with the keyless entry remote transmitter or the door will be locked again.
(4) Automatic light control system turns on or off the headlights, park lights, taillights, side marker lights and instrument panel lights according to darkness of surrounding lighting. Headlight control switch must be position No. 3 (AUTO position) for automatic light control system to operate.
(5) Automatic turn off system turns off the headlights after 30 seconds when all side doors and back door are closed with ignition in ACC or LOCK position with headlight control switch turned to position No. 2. Position No. 2 turns on the headlights along with park lights, taillights, side marker lights and instrument panel lights. Lights will automatically turn off when driver's side front door is opened with headlight control switch in position No. 1. Position No. 1 turns on the park lights along with taillights, side marker lights and instrument panel lights. If doors are locked with keyless entry remote transmitter, lights will turn off immediately.

(1) Auto up or down function controls automatic operation of power window. When power window switch is pushed completely downward and then released, or pulled completely upward and then released, the power window will fully open or close.
(2) Jam protection function causes power window to stop and open half way if something becomes caught between window and window frame during power window auto up (automatic closing) operation.
