Remote Transmitter Registration

NOTE: Ensure key is not in ignition switch and driver's door is unlocked and open. Close all other doors. REWRITE mode erases previous codes on all remote transmitters and recodes them. CONFIRMATION mode is used to determine how many remote transmitters are currently registered.
  1. Insert and remove key from ignition lock cylinder. Within 40 seconds, using driver's inside door lock control switch, lock and unlock driver's door 5 times at about one-second intervals. Close and open driver's door.
  2. Within 40 seconds, using driver's inside door lock control switch, lock and unlock driver's door 5 times at about one-second intervals. Insert key into ignition lock cylinder. To activate REWRITE mode, turn ignition switch from ON to LOCK position 2 times at about one-second intervals. To activate CONFIRMATION mode, turn ignition switch from ON to LOCK position 3 times at about one-second intervals. Remove key from ignition lock cylinder. If REWRITE mode was selected, go to next step. If CONFORMATION mode was selected, go to step  5.
  3. Within 3 seconds, integration relay automatically performs LOCK/UNLOCK operation 2 times at one-second intervals to inform operator REWRITE mode has been selected. Within 20 seconds, depress LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on remote transmitter at the same time for more than one-second. Within 3 seconds, depress LOCK or UNLOCK button on remote transmitter for more than one-second.
  4. Within 3 seconds, integration relay will automatically perform LOCK/UNLOCK operation once if registration of recognition code is completed correctly or 2 times if recognition code received first time and second time does not match. If LOCK/UNLOCK operation was performed one time, go to step  6. If LOCK/UNLOCK operation was performed 2 times, return to step  1.
  5. Integration relay automatically performs LOCK/UNLOCK operation 1-4 times at one-second intervals to inform operator how many remote transmitters are currently registered. If no transmitter codes are registered, LOCK/UNLOCK operation occurs 5 times. Remote transmitter registration is completed.
  6. Registration of recognition code procedure will end if 20 seconds has elapsed since last integration relay response, driver's door is closed, key is inserted into ignition switch, or 4 recognition codes were registered at same time.
