Basic Function Test

Stand about 3 feet from outside door handle on driver door. Point remote transmitter toward vehicle. Depress any remote transmitter button for about one-second. If doors or luggage compartment respond properly, system is okay. If doors or luggage compartment do not respond properly, perform diagnostics to determine probable cause of fault.
