Back Window Glass: Removal
- REMOVE REAR SEAT (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
- Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side inner garnish.
NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side inner garnish.
- REMOVE HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LIGHT
Remove the high-mounted stop light as shown in the illustration, then disconnect the connector.
- REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM
- Using a screwdriver, remove the 3 rear seat belt bezel.
NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the package tray trim as shown in the illustration.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the 3 rear seat belt bezel.
- REMOVE UPPER BLACK SILENCER
- w/ Rear personal light:
REMOVE REAR PERSONAL LIGHT
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear personal light, then disconnect the connector.

NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use. - Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear personal light, then disconnect the connector.
- REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING
Disengage the 3 clips and remove the rear side of roof headlining.
- DISCONNECT DEFOGGER WIRE CONNECTOR
- REMOVE BACK WINDOW MOULDING
- Using a knife, cut off the moulding as shown.
NOTE: Do not damage the body with the knife.
- Remove the remaining moulding.
- Using a knife, cut off the moulding as shown.
- REMOVE BACK WINDOW GLASS
- Insert a piano wire between body and glass and let it pass through.
- Tie both wire ends to wooden blocks or similar objects.NOTE: Apply protective tape to the outer surface to keep the surface from being scratched.NOTE: When separating the glass, take care not to damage the paint and exterior.
- Cut the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around it.
NOTE: Cut the adhesive areas as shown in the illustration, leaving the adhesive where the stoppers are.
- Let the piano wire pass as shown in the illustration, cut off the adhesive sticking to the stoppers.
NOTE: Do not damage the glass stoppers.
- Disengage the stoppers, then remove the glass.
NOTE: Leave of the adhesive on the body as much as possible when cutting off the glass.
