Instrument Panel: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL NO. 1, NO. 2 NO. 3 AND NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHIONS 
      CAUTION: Do not heat the instrument panel excessively.
    1. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel mounting surface to 20 - 30°C (68 - 86°F).
    2. Remove the adhesive tape from the instrument panel.
    3. If reusing the instrument panel cushions:

      Apply new adhesive tapes.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel cushions to 20 - 30°C (60 - 86°F).
      2. Remove the adhesive tape from the instrument panel cushions.
      3. Apply new adhesive tapes to the instrument panel cushions as shown in Fig 1.

      4. CAUTION: Do not heat the instrument panel cushions and instrument panel excessively.
    4. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel cushions and instrument panel to 20 - 30°C (68 - 86°F).
      5. CAUTION: When the release sheet is removed, make sure that no dirt or dust can get onto the uncoated area.
    5. Peel the release sheets from the face of adhesive tapes.
    6. Install the instrument panel cushions to the instrument panel.
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 SAFETY PAD 
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 SAFETY PAD 
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 PINS 
  5. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA 
  6. INSTALL CENTER BRACKET 
  7. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE 
  8. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
  9. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
  11. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
