Instrument Panel: Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal (See REMOVAL )
NOTE:
- Combination meter assembly has equipped with the inclination sensor to control the fuel gage. When replacing the inclination sensor or combination meter assembly, please reset the vehicle in a horizontal condition according to the following procedure.
- If you do not reset the vehicle in a horizontal condition, the fuel gage fails to display the accurate valve.
RESET INCLINATION SENSOR INSIDE COMBINATION METER
- After replacing the part, install the combination meter to the vehicle.
- Move the vehicle to a horizontal place. (A surface with an angle of inclination no greater than +/-0.5°)
- With the ignition switch at OFF position, press the trip switch.
- While pressing the trip switch, turn the ignition switch to ON position.
- Within 5 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON, release the trip switch and repeat pressing the trip switch 3 times, but keep pressing the switch for 5 seconds for the third time. (The buzzer of 800 Hz will sound for 1 second.)
- After the buzzer stops, release the trip switch.
- Press the trip switch one more time and hold for 5 seconds. (Once more, the buzzer of 800 Hz will sound for 1 second.)
- The horizontally setting is now completed.
