Throttle Body: Removal

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 
  2. DISCONNECT ACCELERATOR CABLE 
  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE AND CAP 
    1. Loosen the 2 air cleaner hose clamp bolts.
    2. Disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle body, and air cleaner cap.
  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
    2. Disconnect the IAC valve connector.
    3. Disconnect the PCV hose from the throttle body.

    4. Disconnect the 2 water bypass hoses.

    5. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts, accelerator bracket and throttle body from the intake manifold.
    6. Remove the throttle body gasket.
