Back Door: Disassembly
HINT:
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart, (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS )
- REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD
Using a screwdriver, remove the back door trim board.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- REMOVE SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE BACK SPARE TIRE BRACKET
Remove the 4 bolts and back spare tire bracket.
- REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM
- REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR
- Remove the grommet.
- Disconnect the connector, then unfasten the 3 bolts.
- Remove the rear wiper motor.
- REMOVE DOOR LOCK
- Remove the 3 screws and bolt.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Disconnect the 2 links then remove the door lock.
- REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE
- Remove the 3 plug hole covers.
- Remove the 3 bolts and back door outside handle.
- REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH
- Remove the 3 clips.
- Insert a screwdriver between the door outside garnish and back door to remove the door outside garnish.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Disconnect the license plate light connector.
- REMOVE STOP LIGHT COVER
Using a screwdriver, remove the stop light cover.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- REMOVE UPPER SIDE GARNISHES
Using a screwdriver, remove the upper side garnishes.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- REMOVE STOP LIGHT
- Remove the connector.
- Remove the 2 screws and stop light.
- REMOVE REAR SPOILER
Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and rear spoiler.
