Rear Side Window: Replacement

NOTE:
  • The installation is in the reverse order of the removal.
  • On the RH side, use the same procedures as on the LH side.
  1. REMOVE REAR NO.1 SEAT ASSY LH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  2. REMOVE RR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH ASSY LH (See  ROOF HEADLINING ASSY  ) 
    1. Rear door opening trim weather strip LH
    2. Remove the rope hooks.
    3. Remove the back door scuff plate.
    4. Remove the roof headlining garnish rear.
    5. Remove the rear door scuff plate.
    6. Remove the quarter trim panel assy LH.
    7. Remove the RR window side garnish assy No.2 LH.
    8. Remove the RR window side garnish assy LH.
  3. REMOVE SIDE WINDOW ASSY REAR LH 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

      Torque: 

      Bolt: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf) 

    3. Remove the window.

  4. REMOVE POWER VENT WINDOW MOTOR ASSY LH (POWER WINDOW TYPE) 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the window motor.

  5. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW LOCK ASSY LH (MANUAL WINDOW TYPE) 
    1. Remove the screw and window lock.
  6. REMOVE SIDE REAR WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP LH
