Combination Meter: Precaution

1. Before performing electronic work, disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal in order to prevent a short in the system.
2. When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cable, turn the ignition switch and lighting switches off and loosen the terminal nut completely. Perform these operations without prying on the terminal.
3. When the battery terminal is removed, the memories of the clock, radio, DTCs, etc. are erased. So before removing the terminal, check and make a note of them.
   NOTE: When disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, initialize the following system after the terminal is reconnected.
