Input Shaft: Disassembly

REMOVE PLANETARY SUN GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the planetary sun gear from the input shaft.

REMOVE INPUT SHAFT THRUST BEARING RACE
1. Float the input shaft thrust bearing race using a thin flat-head screwdriver if it is attached to the planetary sun gear.

2. Remove the 2 input shaft thrust bearing races and input shaft thrust needle roller bearing.
