Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT OIL CONTROL VALVE 
    1. Connect the positive + lead to terminal 1 of the connector and the negative - lead to terminal 2, then check the movement of the valve.
      OIL CONTROL VALVE INSPECTION

      When battery positive voltage is applied. Valve moves <-- in direction.
      When battery positive voltage is cut off. Valve moves --> in direction.

      If operation is not as specified, replace the oil control valve.
