SFI System: Precaution

NOTE:
  • Perform RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM (See INITIALIZATION ).
  • Perform REGISTRATION (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM (See REGISTRATION  ).

HINT:

Initialization cannot be completed by only removing the battery.
