Power Window Master Switch: Inspection

INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Check the resistance.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the tables below.

Standard Resistance:

Driver switch

If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

Standard Resistance:

Passenger side switch

If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

Check the illumination operation.

Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator master switch and check that the illumination comes on.

If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.
