Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration (see INITIALIZATION
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, generate a control command, and then check that the SLIP indicator light operates.
ABS / VSC / TRAC:
SKID CONTROL ECU DIAGNOSTIC CHARTItem Test Details Diagnostic Note SLIP INDI LIGHT Turns SLIP indicator light ON / OFF Observe combination meter OK:
Turn the SLIP indicator light on or off.
OK: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
NG: Go to next step

- Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
