LUCAS Single Breaker Point Distributors: Description

Distributor is a single breaker design. Centrifugal advance is accomplished with conventional weights and springs. Vacuum advance/retard units (if equipped) actuate the movable portion of breaker plate. On some models, a drive gear contained within distributor body provides a drive for the tachometer.
