PCV System: Description

The Volkswagen crankcase ventilation system consists of a sealed oil filler cap, restrictor, and a hose connecting valve cover and air cleaner. Turbo diesel models use a large diameter pressure regulating valve attached to valve cover to ventilate crankcase.
