Fuel Injection System - BOSCH DIGIJET: Testing: Relays: Wiring

  1. Power supply and fuel pump relays are located in engine compartment. They are both in plastic box on firewall. Fuel pump relay is mounted on right side of box and power supply relay on left.
  2. Unplug all electrical connectors at injectors. Turn ignition on. Using test lamp, check for battery voltage at terminals 30 and 85 of both relays. Power supply relay should also have voltage at terminal 85. If not, check wiring.
  3. Terminal 87 of fuel pump relay should have voltage when starter is operated. If not, check wiring. If wiring is good, check relay. If relay is good, replace ECU.
