Deceleration Function

  1. Run engine until coolant temperature is at minimum of 140°F (60°C) and sensor gives resistance reading lower than 550 ohms. Unplug throttle valve switch connector.
  2. Connect male end of Jumper Plug (VW 1490) to female plug of harness connector. Accelerate engine slightly. Engine speed (RPM) must fluctuate. If not, replace ECU.
