Amplifier -R12-: Notes
NOTE:
Before troubleshooting or servicing, the technicians must be familiar with the function and operation of the radio and radio navigation system.
When the battery is connected, check the all the vehicle accessories (radio, clock, electronic conveniences, etc.).
Two amplifier versions are available:
- 8-channel amplifier as "Volkswagen sound system" as well as "Monsoon" sound system or
- 10-channel amplifier as "Dynaudio Authentic Fidelity" sound system
Sound system amplifiers serve to expand the sound of the radio or radio navigation system.
The activation of signal inputs to the amplifier occurs via the radio unit or the radio navigation system speaker outputs.
The amplifier is installed under the left front seat.
