Remote Compass Module: Installing

-- Position the RCM (2) onto the top of the I/P.

-- Install the RCM screws (3).

-- Connect the electrical connector (1).

-- Install the I/P upper storage tray. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Perform the compass variance adjustment. Refer to COMPASS AND MINI-TRIP COMPUTER, COMPASS VARIANCE ADJUSTMENT .

-- Perform the manual compass calibration. Refer to COMPASS AND MINI-TRIP COMPUTER, MANUAL COMPASS CALIBRATION .

-- Verify proper compass operation.
