Power Circuit Checks

  1. Connect voltmeter leads between ECU connector pin No. 35 and ground.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Voltmeter should read 12 volts. Also, crank engine and check that battery voltage exists when engine is being cranked.


  1. Connect voltmeter leads between ground and ECU connector pin No. 18.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Voltmeter should read 12 volts (battery voltage). Also, crank engine and check that battery voltage exists when engine is being cranked.
