Removal & Installation: Notes
WARNING:
740 Series & 760 Series may be equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), which incorporates an air bag in center of steering wheel. Caution should be used when working on models with SRS. If air bag is activated, personal injury may result.
CAUTION:
To determine if vehicle is equipped with SRS, check if decal is located on center console stating that model is equipped with SRS. Self-diagnostic light is located on instrument panel. SRS light will activate when ignition is turned on and will go out when engine is started. Negative battery cable MUST BE disconnected prior to working on vehicle.
