Idle Air Control Valve

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect ECU connector. Remove cover from ECU connector to expose terminal identification numbers. On 240's with 2.4 Jetronic fuel system, connect an ohmmeter between fuel injection ECU terminals No. 9 and 33.
  2. Ohmmeter should read 8 ohms.
