Input Devices: Notes

NOTE: Components are grouped into 2 categories. The first category is INPUT DEVICES , which control or produce voltage signals monitored by ECM called input signals. The second category is OUTPUT SIGNALS , which are components controlled by ECM.

Vehicles are equipped with different combinations of input devices. Not all devices may be used.
