Transmission Assembly: Dissassembly
- Remove the bolts on the transmission front and rear housing. Remove the extension housing assembly.
- Remove the bolts on the extension housing.
- Remove the bolts of the upper and lower box.
- Remove the input shaft module and output shaft module assembly.
- Remove the rear plate, then disassemble the sealing ring assembly at the front end of the countershaft.
- Remove bearing retainer ring. Strike the housing washer on the countershaft front bearing from front to back with a copper rod and a hammer to make the front and rear bearings pop out. Remove the rear bearings with the appropriate tool and remove the countershaft unit.
- Remove the sealing ring on the input shaft, remove the retainer ring on the input shaft with the appropriate pliers, and then disassemble the input shaft module. When disassembling, be careful not to damage each gear of the input shaft by knocking them together. Note the assembly pattern between each adjacent component. When installing, make sure to install the bearings (6204N) of the input shaft in the correct direction.
- Remove the locking ring on the output shaft with the appropriate pliers. Remove the rear bearings (6304N/C3) of the output shaft with a shaft bearing replacement tool. Remove the E-type adjustable locking ring on the output shaft with the appropriate pliers. Always use the proper tool to remove the gear from the output shaft. When disassembling, be careful not to damage each gear of the input shaft by knocking them together. Note the assembly pattern between each adjacent component. When installing, make sure to put the bearings (6204N/C3) of the output shaft in the correct direction.
