Retrieving Codes

  1. Turn engine off. Turn ignition on. Ensure ANTI-LOCK warning light comes on. Start engine and check ANTI-LOCK warning light. If warning light goes out, no fault codes exist.
  2. If warning light stays on, turn engine off. Disconnect service check connector. See Fig 1 . Connect SSC Short Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to service check connector.
  3. Turn ignition on, but DO NOT start engine. ANTI-LOCK warning light should start flashing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). If light does not flash DTC, go to ANTI-LOCK WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  4. First number of code indicates main code. See Fig 2 . Second number indicates sub code. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  table. A one-second pause separates main and sub codes. An approximate 10-second delay should occur before LED starts blinking after ignition is turned on. Total of 3 codes can be set at one time. There is a 5-second pause between DTCs. To recheck sequence, turn ignition off for a few seconds and then turn ignition back on. To diagnose DTCs, go to appropriate test under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  .
