Traction Control: Anti-Lock: Description
The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking. This allows driver to maintain control of vehicle under severe braking conditions. System consists of ABS control unit, wheel pulsers (trigger wheel), wheel sensors, modulator unit, indicator light, master cylinder, power booster assembly, pump motor relay, fail-safe relay and connecting wiring. Modulator unit contains; pump, pump motor, inlet and outlet solenoid valves, reservoir and damping chamber. See Fig 1.
