Toe-In Adjustment: Rear

CAUTION: If nut is tightened down more than 4 times during adjustment, it must be replaced again. Self-locking effect becomes too weak.
NOTE: Unscrew a stubborn nut with special tool (32 3 152).
  1. Release nut (1) with special tool (32 3 151/152) and remove. See Fig 1 .
  2. Replace nut (1). Eccentric washer (2) must be located between stops. See Fig 2 .
  3. Tighten down new nut (1) with special tool (32 3 151/152) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Slacken nut (1) approximately 3/4 turn.
  5. Adjust toe-in by turning eccentric screw. See Fig 3 . Tighten to specification. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  .
  6. Tighten down nut with special tool (32 3 151/152) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
