Test No. 2

  1. Press UNLOCK button on transmitter. If doors unlock, go to next step. If doors do not unlock, see SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS  under SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS.
  2. Set system unlock mode to customer preference. See REMOTE UNLOCK CONTROL CUSTOMIZATION  under SYSTEM PROGRAMMING. Verify proper unlock operation. If system operates properly, system is okay. Test is complete. If system does not operate properly, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located under dashboard to right of glove compartment. Set system operation to customer preference. See REMOTE ACTIVATION VERIFICATION CUSTOMIZATION  and REMOTE UNLOCK CONTROL CUSTOMIZATION under SYSTEM PROGRAMMING. Verify proper system operation.
