Test No. 3

  1. Using transmitter, check operation of lock and unlock functions. If system operates normally, go to next step. If system does not operate normally, see SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS  under SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS.
  2. Check for a poor connection at BCM connector. BCM is located under dashboard to right of glove compartment. If BCM connector is okay, replace BCM. Set system operation to customer preference. See REMOTE ACTIVATION VERIFICATION CUSTOMIZATION  and REMOTE UNLOCK CONTROL CUSTOMIZATION  under SYSTEM PROGRAMMING. Verify proper system operation. If BCM connector was misaligned, loose, etc., repair as necessary. Verify proper system operation.
