Symptom Tests: Notes
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
NOTE:
Perform system operation check to determine appropriate symptom test. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK . After performing appropriate diagnostic procedure(s) and making repairs, repeat SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK to ensure system is operational.
NOTE:
Instrument cluster connectors are located behind instrument cluster. For instrument cluster connector terminal identification, see IDENTIFYING INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONNECTOR TERMINALS table. See Fig 1.
