ABS Main Relay

The ABS main relay is located in engine compartment, on side of power distribution center. See Figure . When CAB receives an ignition signal and verifies no stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), CAB energizes ABS main relay. When ABS main relay is energized, it provides voltage to pump/motor relay and to valves in valve block on Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). When ABS main relay is de-energized, it supplies a ground circuit to turn on Amber ABS warning light.
