Rear Suspension: Spindle: Description

A forged rear spindle is mounted to each side of the rear suspension (Figure). The top attaches to the rear strut assembly. Two lateral links leading from the rear suspension crossmember are mounted to the forward and rearward ends of the spindle centerline. A trailing arm leading from the frame rail connects to the bottom of the spindle.
