Lower Torque Strut

  1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  2. Remove accessory drive belt splash shield.
  3. Remove pencil strut. (Fig 1).

  4. Remove bolts attaching lower strut to crossmember and strut bracket. (Figure).
  5. Remove lower torque strut.
