CCV System
It meters amount of crankcase vapors drawn out of engine. The fixed orifice fitting is grey in color. See Fig 1 .
When engine is operating, fresh air enters engine and mixes with crankcase vapors. Manifold vacuum draws vapor/air mixture through fixed orifice and into intake manifold. The vapors are then consumed during engine combustion.
