Installation Procedure

    Automatic Level Control Module (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Automatic Level Control Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 4x ] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the air suspension controller electrical connector (1).

    NOTE:

    The air lines and air suspension controller are color coded.

    Install and tighten the 5 air line nuts (1) to the air suspension controller. Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector (2).

  6. Install the wire harness retainer (3).
  7. Connect the electrical connector (1).

    Install the air intake filter retainer (1).

    Install the air line retaining clip (2).

  10. Install the air intake/exhaust line (1) in the body grommet.
  11. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly.

    Remove the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve cap (1).

  13. Install CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator to the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve (2) and set the regulator on the nitrogen tank to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
  14. Using CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator, open the valve on the pressure gage to fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
  15. Using CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator and the shop nitrogen tank, fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
  16. Close the pressure gauge valve and remove CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator from the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
  17. Install the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve cap (1) and tighten. Fastener Specifications .
  18. Partially lower the vehicle, but DO NOT let the wheels touch the ground.
  19. Using GDS2 tool, use short-term inflate to increase pressure to the air springs:
    • Front: 6 Bar (87 PSI)
    • Rear: 5 Bar (73 PSI)
  20. Using GDS2, verify automatic level control air supply tank pressure is at 16 Bar (232 PSI), if not repeat steps 12 - 16.
  21. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  22. After installation, program the automatic level control module. Control Module References
  23. Perform the automatic level control trim height learn. Automatic Level Control Trim Height Learn
