All Windows Inoperative

  1. Check circuit breaker for power window system. See CIRCUIT BREAKER  . Replace circuit breaker as necessary. If circuit breaker is okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove Driver Door Module (DDM). See DOOR MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check for continuity between ground and terminal No. 8 (Black wire) at DDM 12-pin wiring harness connector. See Fig 1 . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Black wire ground circuit.
  3. Reconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 9 (Tan wire) at DDM 12-pin connector. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Tan wire. If battery voltage is present, DDM power and ground circuits are okay. See DOOR MODULE  .
