Shift Interlock Cable

  1. Shift transmission into Park. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove gear selector bezel to access cable adjustment. Pull cable lock button up to release cable. See Figure . Pull cable forward and release.
  2. Snap lock button into place. Verify adjustment by attempting to move gear selector. Gear selector should not move. Turn ignition on. Move gear selector to Neutral. If ignition switch cannot be turned to LOCK position, adjustment is okay. Repeat this step with gear selector in Drive.
